TL;DR
Electrical Design Engineer (IoT): Designing and developing electrical systems for smart locker solutions with an accent on battery technology, power supplies, and harness integration. Location: Must be based near Coimbra or Lisbon and available to commute up to 2 times per week.

What you will do
- Design and develop electrical systems including battery packs, chargers, and power supplies.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts.
- Select and integrate battery cell technologies and implement charging solutions.
- Define and optimize electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, and UPS.
- Conduct electrical testing, validation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.
Requirements
- Must live near Coimbra or Lisbon and be available to commute up to 2 times per week.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical system design, specifically battery systems and harnesses.
- Proficiency in PCB design using Altium, KiCad, or equivalent.
- Experience with CAD software for electrical design such as EPLAN.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with solar integration technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing BMS and board-level power supplies (buck, boost, flyback).
