IT Security Engineer

What you will do

• Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities.
• Improve identity and access controls, including MFA, privileged access, and device trust.
• Establish endpoint security standards and remediation processes.
• Maintain and enhance security controls across AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Build and operate a sustainable vulnerability management process.
• Design automation to improve security operations and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• Experience building or improving security controls in cloud-first environments.
• Strong understanding of identity, endpoint, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Experience investigating security incidents and supporting remediation efforts.
• Ability to automate workflows through scripting, APIs, or workflow platforms.
• Experience collaborating with IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Must be able to work from the Barcelona office in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with identity, cloud, endpoint, or SaaS security platforms.
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, CSPM, XDR, or vulnerability management.
• Experience supporting compliance initiatives or AI platforms.
• Relevant certifications in cloud, endpoint, or security disciplines.
