What you will do

• Serve as the escalation point and subject matter expert for complex payroll and tax issues, including amendments and discrepancies.
• Lead month, quarter, and year-end payroll tax processes, including research, corrections, and reconciliations.
• Manage workers’ comp audits and tax incentive requests.
• Process RSU transactions, including pre-payments, reversals, and tax variance corrections.
• Create and maintain complex reports within Workday and payroll systems.
• Research regulatory changes and implement necessary process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll and tax management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ADP Smart Compliance, Workday, and KRONOS.
• Deep understanding of federal and state regulations regarding salaries, wages, taxes, and benefits.
• Proven experience in payroll accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
