TL;DR
Senior HR Analyst (M&A): Supporting the due diligence phase of mergers and acquisitions by collecting and synthesizing HR-related data with an accent on evaluating compensation structures, benefits programs, and compliance practices. Focus on building workforce cost models and preparing executive-ready deliverables to inform deal decisions.
Location: Remote (Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship)
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do
- Gather and validate HR data, including policies, compensation, and benefits from target companies during M&A due diligence.
- Analyze findings to identify employee impact, risks, cost implications, and alignment opportunities.
- Prepare clear PowerPoint presentations and Excel models for leadership and seller reviews.
- Build detailed workforce and cost models, such as benefit comparisons and compensation models.
- Identify potential compliance exposures regarding employment practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the creation of offer letters, termination agreements, and employee covenants drafted by legal counsel.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, benefits, or HR M&A.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to travel within the US (less than 10%).
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday HRIS.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline HR diligence and data analysis.
