TL;DR

Benefits Specialist (HR Operations): Managing client benefit plans, onboarding, and compliance with an accent on data integrity and system optimization. Focus on implementing new plan designs, performing benefits audits, and resolving client inquiries within the Prism HR platform.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones; must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship)

Salary: $65,000–$75,000

What you will do

  • Develop, test, and implement new benefit plan designs with tiered pricing structures for renewals or new clients.
  • Maintain data integrity and system functionality for all benefit enrollments in the system of record.
  • Perform benefits analysis, validations, and audits to ensure quality control and procedure adherence.
  • Resolve client inquiries and manage open cases with a target turnaround of 3-5 days.
  • Configure ACA support (1095s) and design workflows for routine benefits tasks.
  • Collaborate with account managers, payroll, and sales teams to coordinate compliance and systems.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
  • Must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.
  • 2+ years of experience in Benefits Services.
  • Experience using Prism HR or any other HRIS incorporating benefits administration to build forms and workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in payroll.
  • Strong proficiency in building benefit forms and validating enrollment processes specifically within Prism HR.
