TL;DR

Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (AWS): Leading teams focused on edge networking, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, and observability to scale high-throughput IDaaS infrastructure. Focus on driving microservice maturity, developing robust self-healing patterns, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the San Francisco office 2 days a week.

Salary: $204,000 – $306,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage and grow a high-performing team of SREs supporting the IDaaS platform.
  • Drive DevOps maturity and microservice adoption in collaboration with architects.
  • Develop powerful tooling, self-service capabilities, and self-healing infrastructure patterns.
  • Oversee platform domains including edge networking, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Perform engineering design evaluations and ensure project delivery within budget and schedule.
  • Improve SDLC processes for infrastructure-as-code and release management.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, Permanent Resident, etc.) to access federal data.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management.
  • Extensive experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies at scale.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience in software development, PaaS, and automation.
  • Deep experience with observability platforms like Grafana and Splunk.
