Senior Salesforce Developer

Senior Salesforce Developer (Backend Dev): Developing and supporting Salesforce applications and integrations for the Veterans Benefits Administration with an accent on Salesforce platform development, Mulesoft integrations, and Agile delivery. Salary: $97,000 - $135,000

What you will do

• Develop applications and solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and front-end technologies
• Lead and develop Mulesoft applications for integrations with Salesforce and back-office systems
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from design through testing, release, and operations
• Lead and review code and solutions developed by team members
• Support creation of documentation for users, customers, and teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and application issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related technical discipline or 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce platform programming languages including Apex and JavaScript
• Experience with Mulesoft and API development (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming)
• Experience working in Agile scrum teams and iterative delivery schedules
• Salesforce certifications and Trailhead badges required
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Technical lead experience
• Experience with web development technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Experience with Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, or ServiceNow
• Experience working on Federal Salesforce programs and with Human Centered Design teams
• Knowledge of MYSQL, MavensMate or Eclipse
