TL;DR

Salary: $170,000 – $190,000 annually

What you will do

  • Prepare and own quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions.
  • Oversee the global income tax compliance process and coordinate with third-party providers.
  • Manage in-house property taxes, local sales taxes, FBAR filings, and state registrations.
  • Administer automated sales tax systems (Avalara) and serve as the technical lead for billing tax queries.
  • Establish and enforce compliant internal control frameworks across all direct and indirect tax processes.
  • Maintain global transfer pricing policies and lead federal, state, and international tax audits.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, preferably blending Big 4 public accounting and in-house SaaS leadership.
  • Deep command of ASC 740, US federal/state corporate tax law, and international tax concepts.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, and automated sales tax software (e.g., Avalara).
  • Proven track record in transaction readiness, R&D credit studies, and audit defense.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license or Master of Science in Taxation (MST) is highly preferred.
  • Must be based in Mountain View, California for a hybrid work arrangement.
