What you will do

• Oversee daily cloud infrastructure operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Architect and implement cloud solutions for both new and existing workloads.
• Implement and manage cloud security measures, including firewalls, network access control, and data privacy compliance.
• Analyze cloud usage patterns to identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior cloud and DevOps engineers.
• Leverage and establish best practices for AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Amazon CodeWhisperer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar infrastructure role.
• Proficiency in major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of DevOps automation tools and CI/CD practices (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub).
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Must be based in or able to work from Lisbon

Nice to have

• Experience within the Finance or Insurance industry.
• Relevant professional certifications such as AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
