What you will do

• Architect and evolve a scalable, multi-tenant AI/ML platform unifying traditional ML and Generative AI/LLM orchestration.
• Design and implement production-grade AI Agents, multi-agent systems, and advanced chatbots with state management and long-term memory.
• Build high-throughput, low-latency application backends and orchestration layers in collaboration with platform and full-stack engineers.
• Act as the technical anchor for the Data Science team, leading design and security reviews and enforcing engineering standards.
• Drive adoption of modern AI infrastructure, including vector databases, embedding pipelines, and serverless compute.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead ML Engineer architecting production-grade ML platforms and distributed backends.
• Deep proficiency in Traditional ML lifecycles and Generative AI patterns (RAG, fine-tuning, agentic AI).
• Mastery of Python and experience with modern backend ecosystems.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Austin, TX.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Authorization to receive software/technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with full-stack technologies like React and TypeScript.
• Experience with hirify.global Workers or other edge environments.
• Proficiency with LangGraph, LangChain, or Autogen.
