What you will do

• Maintain and improve risk registers and facilitate risk identification workshops for battery storage, offshore wind, and industrial energy projects.
• Perform Cost-Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) using stochastic modelling and Monte Carlo simulations to quantify project uncertainty.
• Develop probabilistic cost and schedule forecasts (P50 / P80 / P90) and contingency analyses.
• Prototype and deploy an AI Risk Assistant using Python and Copilot Studio to automate risk reporting and knowledge retrieval.
• Produce risk dashboards and reporting narratives for steering teams.
• Document all models and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and scalability across the department.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MSc degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, specifically with pandas and numpy.
• Strong interest in stochastic modelling, uncertainty analysis, and agentic AI workflows.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong English communication skills (Dutch is a plus).
• Ability to work hybrid from the Rotterdam office.
