What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement mortgage models in collaboration with the Risk Modelling team.
• Manage risk appetite through limit calibration and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain key policies, procedures, and controls for mortgage credit risk.
• Identify and govern emerging mortgage credit risks, including new product assessments.
• Engage with stakeholders, committees, and regional regulators regarding risk exposures.
• Protect the organization from excessive risk-taking while optimizing long-term costs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mortgage credit risk experience.
• Knowledge of personal mortgages and collateral management.
• Familiarity with European retail credit regulations and risk modelling (PD/ECL).
• Experience in the European credit market, specifically the Dutch market.
• Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively across the three lines of defence.

Nice to have

• Degree in STEM or finance.
• Experience in second line of defence risk roles.
