What you will do

• Evaluate and support changes to the Threat Analysis environment.
• Analyze needs and develop internal tools to support threat research into malware, exploit kits, and vulnerabilities.
• Build and maintain web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Develop and manage data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for platform development.
• Collaborate with researchers to optimize detection capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience with network traffic inspection tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or Moloch.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies including VMware, VirtualBox, or KVM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, with a strong preference for Python and Lua.
• Experience with regular expressions (PCRE).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building web applications using React.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
