Software Engineer (Elixir)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and services used across the organization.
• Debug production issues across gateway, auth, network, and application layers.
• Ship large-scale features in collaboration with multiple squads.
• Improve company-wide tooling, observability, and system reliability.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software development with an object-oriented or functional language (Elixir preferred).
• Drive to become an expert in functional programming and Elixir.
• Experience working with relational databases at scale.
• Understanding of concurrent and distributed programming challenges.
• Knowledge of microservices patterns and anti-patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Grafana, and/or RabbitMQ.

Nice to have

• Experience with Envoy.
• Experience building or operating customer-facing APIs, gateways, auth systems, or internal platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
