What you will do
- Develop model-based control strategies for EV thermal management and powertrain systems.
- Translate vehicle and powertrain requirements into functional requirements and control algorithms.
- Design and implement thermal control functions for Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) applications.
- Support calibration, integration, and validation activities throughout the V-cycle (MiL, SiL, HiL).
- Analyze thermal system behavior, perform root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers for successful system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Control, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in EV or automotive control systems.
- Strong knowledge of Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) functions and vehicle control concepts.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design.
- Deep understanding of EV thermal management systems, including Heat Pump architectures and HVAC integration.
- Experience with CANape, INCA, AUTOSAR, and ISO 26262 standards.
