What you will do

  • Collaborate with corporate sales teams and partners on high-touch pre-sales technical activities.
  • Technically qualify opportunities and conduct Proof of Value (POV) evaluations for end-user accounts.
  • Create detailed Security Assessment Reports post-POV evaluation to drive revenue conversion.
  • Train distributors and partner SEs on deploying successful POVs and generating technical reports.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, and corporate headquarters for technical requirements.
  • Monitor competitive market developments in the region to help exceed quarterly revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Tokyo.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT sales, pre-sales, or system design and construction.
  • Proven experience selling complex multi-product architecture within the IT security domain.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Network Engineering (OSI, TCP/IP, DNS), Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM), and SOC operations.
  • English proficiency: reading and writing skills are required for communication with HQ.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for managing high-level customer relationships.

Nice to have

  • Information Security Specialist certification.
  • 2+ years of specific pre-sales experience in the security sector.
  • Background in Customer Service or SaaS sales.
