What you will do
- Manage full P&L responsibility for the MRO operation, optimizing safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure on-time delivery and strict compliance with FAA (14 CFR Part 145) and EASA regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a workforce of 40-60 employees, focusing on mentorship and succession planning.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma strategies to expand capacity and support rapid market growth.
- Serve as the senior site leader for repair station compliance, audit readiness, and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and collaborate with executive leadership on capital investments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in MRO, aviation, manufacturing, or a regulated industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of leading teams through operational constraints and growth phases.
- Deep understanding of aviation regulatory environments and repair station operations.
- Must be based in the United States to lead onsite operations.
Nice to have
- FAA Repairman Certificate.
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
