What you will do

• Own hirify.global's financial services regulatory strategy with specific focus on the West African market.
• Lead licensing and authorization processes, including the DCSP license in Ghana and financial services licensing in Nigeria.
• Maintain senior-level engagement with regulators and industry bodies in Nigeria and Ghana.
• Partner with Product and Credit teams to integrate regulatory requirements into new product development.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, responses to examinations, and high-stakes supervisory submissions.
• Improve compliance policies, regulatory playbooks, and control frameworks while driving first-line ownership.

Requirements

• Proven track record in financial services compliance or regulatory affairs within fintech, banking, or consumer finance.
• Experience leading licensing processes and managing supervisory engagements at a senior level.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, conduct risk, consumer protection, AML/CFT, and data protection.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in or have the ability to operate in Nigeria and Ghana.
