What you will do

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with local regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
• Validate payroll inputs (hires, terminations, bonuses, leaves) and reconcile outputs from external providers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll vendors, monitoring SLAs and driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with labor law, social security, and taxation, supporting internal and external audits.
• Prepare and analyze monthly payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management.
• Provide expert guidance to employees and stakeholders on payroll, benefits, and taxation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of payroll experience in Spain; exposure to Portugal payroll is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, social security, and taxation.
• Experience working with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, SD Worx).
• Proficiency in HRIS (Workday, SAP HR, Meta4) and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
