What you will do

• Identify and develop key banking products, features, and growth opportunities in the Japanese market.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Tech, and Finance teams to define Revolut Japan's banking strategy.
• Create business cases based on requirement definitions and drive execution plans.
• Manage project prioritization and support license applications.
• Define the operational playbook and process execution to achieve hyper-growth.
• Develop and manage relationships with strategic partnerships and critical vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working at a bank in Japan.
• Deep knowledge of banking products and services in Japan.
• Experience drafting internal regulations/circulars related to deposit or currency exchange operations.
• Experience with the Zengin System and Bank of Japan (BOJ) transaction management.
• Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese.
• Ability to decompose complex problems and a data-driven approach to work.

Nice to have

• Experience being seconded to the Japanese Bankers Association or the Regional Banks Association of Japan.
• Expertise in data analysis using tools such as SQL or Excel.
• Experience in corporate strategy and planning involving overseas offices.
