Responsibilities:

- Lead and grow Chronicle’s Platform Engineering and DevOps organization, including hiring and mentoring engineers
- Define infrastructure strategy, operational standards, ownership boundaries, and long-term platform roadmap
- Own platform reliability, operational readiness, incident management, and measurable reliability objectives
- Lead infrastructure readiness for ISO 27001, SOC 2, audits, customer due diligence, and disaster recovery programs
- Own cloud, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code platforms and improve developer experience via automation and self-service tooling
- Manage vendor practices, capacity planning, FinOps, and infrastructure governance to balance reliability, security, and cost

Requirements:

- 8+ years in Infrastructure/Platform Engineering/DevOps/SRE roles with 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and building scalable distributed teams and operational processes
- Experience operating and scaling infrastructure in security-, compliance-, or audit-driven environments
- Hands-on expertise with cloud-native infrastructure, AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and Linux
- Experience with incident management, on-call operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, security, automation, and resilience engineering

Nice to have:

- Experience in regulated financial, payments, custody, or digital asset environments
- Prior contribution to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar compliance programs
- Experience building distributed follow-the-sun operational models
