TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Developing and updating web-based marketing platforms using Vue.js and Node.js with an accent on server-side rendering, performance optimization, and AI-enabled workflows. Location: Hybrid (Chicago, IL) — 4 days onsite required
Salary: $114,100 – $193,975 per year

What you will do
- Develop full-stack web applications using Vue.js, Nuxt 3, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
- Build and maintain server-side rendered and universal web applications with a focus on hydration, caching, and performance.
- Create reusable front-end components and contribute to design-system patterns.
- Build Node.js-based APIs and integrations with headless CMS, analytics, and third-party platforms.
- Implement AI-enabled marketing workflows for content creation, migration, and operational automation.
- Optimize production delivery through testing, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience focusing on full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Proficiency with modern frameworks such as Vue, Nuxt, React, Next.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, including rendering, networking, and performance.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and Node.js services.
- Familiarity with deploying and monitoring applications in AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Must be based in Chicago, IL to comply with the 4-day onsite hybrid policy.
Nice to have
- Experience with headless Content Management Systems like Contentstack.
- Experience partnering with digital marketing teams on personalization, analytics, or lead generation workflows.
