What you will do

• Lead technical execution through architecture design, complex code reviews, technical debt reduction, and prototyping.
• Build and grow the squad: recruitment, onboarding, career development, performance reviews, and growth plans.
• Stay active in the codebase by contributing to non-critical-path features and engineering “chores” to maintain momentum.
• Collaborate with Product to translate roadmaps into Cloud features and drive sustainable team velocity.
• Partner with SRE, Product, and Ops/Analytics to align technical decisions with business value and broader initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong technical leadership with a solid understanding of distributed systems (Python/Kubernetes/Vue.js).
• Ability to break down product requirements into scalable technical plans and guide architectural trade-offs.
• Proven people leadership experience: mentoring engineers and providing constructive feedback.
• Experience navigating cross-team relationships to unblock delivery and align the squad roadmap with company initiatives.
