What you will do
- Design and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
- Refactor legacy code to enable integration with modern cloud and mobile applications.
- Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code for mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to ensure application stability.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration to cloud-based services.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
- Solid development experience with Java and strong debugging skills.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Understanding of OOP and design patterns.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Lima, Peru.
Nice to have
- Experience with WebFlux, RXJava, or Kogito.
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
