Performance Test Engineer

What you will do

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for API, E2E, and infrastructure.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and track performance baselines, SLAs, and SLOs; build dashboards to visualize trends and bottlenecks.
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to optimize services and infrastructure.
• Run capacity planning and scalability analysis; produce actionable performance reports and insights.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Cloud infrastructure and tooling (AWS).
• Strong experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, and Taurus DLT.
• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong scripting skills (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar) and ability to analyze metrics (latency, throughput, error rates).
• Experience with distributed systems/microservices, REST APIs and async communication patterns, and observability tools (Elastic Stack/Kibana, CloudWatch).
• Ability to provision and tune test environments by reading/modifying Terraform configurations; experience validating autoscaling in Kubernetes (EKS).
