What you will do

• Design and optimize CI pipelines to reduce execution times by 40% using build caching, parallelization, and incremental compilation for Java/JVM systems.
• Deliver fully automated SLO dashboards and alert policies embedded in the platform to enable product teams to own operational reliability.
• Establish zero platform-team dependency for production performance triage via continuous observability solutions across JVM services.
• Reduce platform support tickets by shipping AI-assisted capabilities such as automated runbook generation and LLM-based log triage.
• Operate and standardize observability stacks including metrics, tracing, logging, and continuous profiling.
• Mentor product engineers on platform capabilities and observability ownership to reduce platform team dependencies.

Requirements

• Location: Bogotá, Colombia, LatAm
• 3–5 years experience building or operating Java/JVM backend platforms at scale.
• Strong software architecture fundamentals and hands-on JVM internals knowledge.
• Proven experience designing internal developer platforms and optimizing CI/CD systems.
• Expertise with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SLO/SLI frameworks.
• Strong Linux and container orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes) relevant to JVM workloads.
