Supplier Quality Engineer (Level 2)

What you will do

• Apply quality principles to product/process quality across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory control, and R&D.
• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Lead product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action; ensure corrective measures meet reliability and compliance requirements.
• Develop strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity; evaluate quality systems for deficiencies and corrections.
• Design and analyze inspection/testing processes and equipment; conduct quality tests and statistical analysis; support supplier selection and maintain certification programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Experience with RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action).
• Experience with quality science/quality tools.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience with defect triage and/or integrated corrective action database (familiarization).

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with F35.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related field.
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management and cross-functional teams.
• Active Secret security clearance.
