Labor Relations Manager

TL;DR

What you will do

• Serve as Lead Negotiator in collective bargaining activities with labor unions.
• Manage relationships with external union contacts and resolve pre-arbitration grievances.
• Develop and drive preventive labor relations strategies to maintain union-free status where applicable.
• Interpret and administer labor contracts, ensuring compliance with federal labor laws.
• Manage regional HR systems, including the HR NA SharePoint site and employee recognition platforms.
• Maintain and update regional employee handbooks and coordinate reporting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, HR, or Business Administration required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in labor relations.
• Thorough understanding of US federal labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, with periods of heavy travel during negotiations.
• Strong analytical, conflict resolution, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software like SharePoint.
