What you will do
- Serve as Lead Negotiator in collective bargaining activities with labor unions.
- Manage relationships with external union contacts and resolve pre-arbitration grievances.
- Develop and drive preventive labor relations strategies to maintain union-free status where applicable.
- Interpret and administer labor contracts, ensuring compliance with federal labor laws.
- Manage regional HR systems, including the HR NA SharePoint site and employee recognition platforms.
- Maintain and update regional employee handbooks and coordinate reporting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, HR, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in labor relations.
- Thorough understanding of US federal labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, with periods of heavy travel during negotiations.
- Strong analytical, conflict resolution, and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software like SharePoint.
