What you will do

• Generate creative ideas and pitch them to journalists and bloggers covering tech, SaaS, and B2B industries.
• Build and maintain comprehensive media lists across a wide range of B2B industry groups.
• Collaborate with content marketing teams to create proprietary data that establishes clients as industry experts.
• Pitch content to news media, trade publications, and industry press to drive visibility for organic growth clients.
• Monitor industry news to proactively identify and pitch new story opportunities.
• Nurture long-term relationships with writers, reporters, and bloggers in the B2B space.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of agency experience in PR, specifically supporting B2B, tech, or SaaS brands.
• Proven track record of securing news media coverage for tech or SaaS clients.
• Experience conducting surveys and crafting data-driven stories for national and trade news.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Near perfect grammar and strong editing skills.

Nice to have

• Basic SEO knowledge and understanding of how media mentions influence search and GEO.
• Familiarity with the B2B/tech media landscape, including industry analysts and tech journalists.
• Experience using media relations tools such as Cision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Workspace suites.
