What you will do

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement quality processes.
• Manage customer, supplier, and internal non-conformances using structured problem-solving.
• Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to reduce assembly errors and scrap rates.
• Conduct internal audits and systematically track findings to closure.
• Promote quality awareness and design training programs for the organization.
• Act as the central quality anchor on the production floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering OR German Staatlich geprüfter Techniker certification.
• 3–5+ years of quality engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
• Business-level proficiency in both German and English.
• Strong analytical thinking and hands-on approach to manufacturing quality.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification with focus on statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with Computer-Aided Quality (CAQ) software.
