What you will do

• Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of platform-deployed machine learning applications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and ML engineers, translating technical requirements across gaming-adjacent domains into actionable ML needs.
• Guide product prioritization decisions: deploy off-the-shelf commercial solutions, customize open-source solutions, or initiate greenfield applied science research based on product requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution to ensure ML applications meet platform and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager in a customer-facing AI/ML team with a consulting mindset.
• Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams in industries such as robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace.
• Experience managing a team of ~10 direct reports, establishing ways of working, and developing high-performing engineers.
• Fluency across the full machine learning lifecycle, including data infrastructure, training, and deployment.
• Ability to translate customer requests into actionable technical requirement documents in collaboration with ML engineers.
• Preferred familiarity with Python, Git, PyTorch, and Unix shell; plus tools like Jira/Confluence, Slack, Git server, experiment tracking, and data dashboards.

Nice to have

• Experience with adaptive or lean methodologies; Agile or Scrum certifications.
• Familiarity with AWS and ETL orchestration.
• Background in visual computing, game engines, and real-time 3D rendering.
• Graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Data Science/Visual Computing or a related field.
