Quality Control Manager (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Lead and perform in-process and post-production quality checks, testing, and product disposition.
• Manage day-to-day production floor activities to ensure raw material and product compliance.
• Oversee investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, driving root cause analysis.
• Review and approve compound records, Certificates of Analysis, and raw material documentation.
• Draft, revise, and implement SOPs and protocols in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor pharmacy and production staff on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New Albany, OH.
• 3+ years of experience in quality control or assurance within a pharmaceutical or compounding environment.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <795> and cGMP standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop personnel.
• Technical writing proficiency for SOPs, protocols, and reports.
• Must be willing to obtain a Pharmacy Technician license within six months.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding facility.
• Prior management of environmental monitoring or contamination control programs.
• Experience supporting FDA inspections or operational scale-up projects.
