What you will do

• Accurately accession specimens following established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform intra-lab specimen transportation and logistics.
• Scan, verify, and organize all paperwork associated with specimen accessioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the laboratory environment.
• Participate in the orientation and training of departmental staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and departmental protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Houston, TX.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable working with potential exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
