TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (G&A): Driving and scaling Okta's growth through financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the G&A organization with an accent on strategic partnering with People, Workplace, and Customer Zero teams. Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid - at least 2 days per week in office)
Salary: $104,000 — $143,000 USD

What you will do
- Act as a strategic financial partner to the People, Workplace, and Customer Zero organizations.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy for spend, headcount, and key metrics.
- Maintain and improve detailed financial models to track functional costs and their impact on overall performance.
- Prepare budget vs. actual variance analysis and other relevant financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the controllership organization on accruals and elements of the close process.
- Lead process and systems improvement projects to support company scaling and growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of FP&A experience.
- Proficiency with FP&A systems (Anaplan, Workday, Tableau experience is a plus).
- Advanced Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/GSlides skills.
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be based in San Francisco and able to work from the office at least two days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global high tech, software, or SaaS organization.
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude Code, Gemini) and implementing them into workflows.
- Experience with complex headcount and real estate/CapEx modeling.
