Financial Analyst
Company: BCB Group
BCB Group is a leading provider of regulated payment and trading services in crypto and fiat for the digital asset economy. They offer accounts, cryptocurrency and FX market liquidity, instant settlements (BLINC) and regulated services authorised in the UK, France and Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Owning month-end processes for allocated entities, ensuring accurate, timely reporting.
- Preparing monthly income statements and providing detailed variance analysis.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving reconciling items.
- Performing bank postings and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
- Supporting monthly/quarterly VAT returns, intercompany billing and ad hoc reporting.
- Acting as a key point of contact for external audits and partnering with operational and in-country teams.
- Identifying and implementing process, systems and reporting improvements.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a financial or management accounting role, ideally within financial services.
- Part-qualified and actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong experience handling month-end close, transactional accounting and supporting external audits.
- Curious, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to take initiative and ownership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data manipulation/analysis); familiarity with Google Sheets and ERP systems.
