Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Salary: $160,000 — $220,000 CAD

What you will do
- Design and build developer-facing platform surfaces such as APIs, MCP tools, and CLI integrations.
- Own the technical direction for platform surfaces to make Auth0 consumable by AI agents.
- Drive cross-cutting technical decisions to ensure platform coherence and ease of use.
- Collaborate peer-to-peer with tech leads across teams to raise execution standards and unblock others.
- Apply developer empathy to create intuitive API consumption experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience focusing on platforms, SDKs, or developer tooling.
- Strong fundamentals in Node.js; proficiency in Go is a plus.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping APIs or developer-facing surfaces at scale.
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic tooling, MCP, or LLM-facing API design.
- Ability to own and resolve ambiguous problems without detailed top-down scoping.
- Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Nice to have
- Experience with identity, authorization, or IAM platforms.
- Work with AI agent frameworks, AI-facing APIs, or LLM developer toolchains.
- Background at a company where developers are the primary customer.
