What you will do

• Develop and execute the commissioning strategy for studio entertainment across all platforms to maximize audience reach.
• Innovate digital strategies to grow brands on hirify.global iPlayer and third-party platforms, including YouTube.
• Manage relationships with creative partners, producers, and global talent to nurture a diverse supply base.
• Lead and mentor commissioning teams, overseeing career development and performance management.
• Identify emerging trends and new subject territories for entertainment content.
• Ensure financial targets, regulatory requirements, and complex duty of care/compliance standards are met.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in creating and delivering successful long-running studio entertainment formats.
• Proven track record of driving digital innovation and audience growth on platforms like YouTube.
• Expert knowledge of the international market for entertainment formats and experience with commercial partnerships.
• Experience in managing flagship series and improving prime time and iPlayer ratings.
• Ability to manage significant budgets and navigate complex legal and contractual agreements.
• Must be based in or able to work from Glasgow or Salford, UK.
