What you will do

• Drive high-impact moments into vertical video for the website, app, and social media carousels.
• Oversee colleagues across platforms and coordinate content across multiple news areas.
• Collaborate daily with News, Sounds, Sport, and iPlayer teams.
• Experiment with creative commissioning and storytelling formats to reach new audiences.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure the highest production standards.
• Script, produce, and edit video content, guiding reporters to optimize delivery for digital audiences.

Requirements

• Substantial broadcast journalism experience with high editorial judgment and writing skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cardiff or Salford, UK.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (FCP) and/or Adobe Premiere.
• Experience using audience research and analytics to develop ideas and grow audiences.
• Ability to allocate work to a team and maintain quality control of output.
• Ability to work weekends and shifts.
