What you will do

• Manage alerts, incidents, and customer escalations within defined SLAs.
• Perform provisioning and upgrades of infrastructure components and product applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems for environment issues.
• Influence product teams to improve service scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Automate repeated operational tasks to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Mentor team members and act as an engineering authority for cloud operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of operational or engineering experience with Java applications and Apache Tomcat.
• 5+ years of enterprise-scale Linux administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on operational experience with AWS.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Must be able to participate in after-hours on-call rotations, including weekends.

Nice to have

• AWS Certification or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience with GCP or Azure.
• Knowledge of database troubleshooting (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification.
