Salary: £63,000 - £68,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain infrastructure and tools to support mobile app development for iOS and Android across the organization.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from requirement gathering to release and ongoing support for internal mobile teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology and processes, ensuring mobile teams can build faster.
• Participate in agile practices, code reviews, and initiatives to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and response to requests from internal engineering colleagues.

Requirements

• Expertise in AWS, specifically CodeBuild, CodePipeline, EC2, Lambda, Docker, and Cloudwatch.
• Experience supporting production systems, including monitoring, reliability, and conducting Post Incident Reviews.
• Strong adherence to quality coding practices, including security, automated testing, and comprehensive documentation.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to high-performing team processes.
• Must identify as deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent (as per the hirify.global Extend programme requirements).

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience of native mobile app development.
• Experience using MacOS as a CI build environment.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and Firebase experience.
• Proficiency in CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in Python and automated testing for AWS development.
