Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET/Fintech): Developing and supporting enterprise products within the Financial Instruments' Life Cycle with an accent on clean code, automated testing, and fullstack development. Focus on designing new features, implementing E2E/API tests, and collaborating in a self-organized Scrum team.

Location: Hybrid model (2 days office in Warsaw, Poland / 3 days remote)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain clean, documented C# code adhering to established coding standards.
• Design, develop, and test new features for enterprise products within the Financial Instruments' Life Cycle.
• Implement comprehensive automated tests covering E2E, API, and Unit levels.
• Work as a fullstack developer across both front-end and back-end (SOA).
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads during feature analysis and refinement.
• Learn and utilize APL for developing new features and debugging functionality.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with C# (.NET or .NET Framework).
• Proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle or SQLite.
• Experience with manual and automated testing strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, TeamCity) and XP practices like TDD and pair-programming.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the financial domain, specifically derivatives (options, futures, swaps).
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Previous experience working within a Scrum team.
