What you will do

• Coordinate and implement airfreight operations aligned with company strategy and customer requirements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for shipment exceptions.
• Coach and mentor team members to ensure SOP compliance and productivity.
• Maintain high data accuracy and milestone updates in hirify.global systems to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve billing disputes and cost control issues.
• Supervise a small team of associates and serve as an acting squad lead when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of air freight processes and import/export handling.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior teammates.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
