What you will do

• Set engineering ecosystem: best practices, tooling, and architecture for complex backend systems.
• Design and build scalable backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL, including robust REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Lead engineering practices and mentor team members while collaborating to deliver end-to-end features.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on cloud services such as AWS and Vercel.
• Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Design and integrate message queue systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Streams) and work with relational and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or mentoring experience (e.g., mentoring, architecture decisions, guiding feature implementation).
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js and relational databases; experience scaling backend systems and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD tooling.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience designing and integrating message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Streams).
