What you will do

• Set technical direction and make architectural decisions that balance immediate speed with long-term scalability.
• Drive complex, cross-functional projects from ambiguity to production.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, system design, and mentorship.
• Own the reliability, performance, and security of systems handling enterprise-grade customer data.
• Architect and ship AI-native features, including semantic clustering, theme detection, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define development processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building full-stack web applications using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong background in managing complex software projects, breaking down requirements, and providing accurate estimates.
• Deep understanding of production trade-offs in AI/ML, including latency, cost, and evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate effort vs. impact trade-offs.
