What you will do

• Own the technical direction for the hybrid mobile stack, balancing performance with reusability.
• Build and ship production-ready mobile architecture alongside the team.
• Define and implement core mobile capabilities required by product teams across the company.
• Lead and mentor Staff and Senior engineers through architectural influence and hands-on coding.
• Partner with product groups to integrate and scale the hybrid application.
• Drive consensus on complex technical challenges spanning frontend, mobile, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building or evolving large-scale hybrid mobile architectures in production.
• Deep expertise in React Native and React, with a strong understanding of cross-platform mobile depth.
• Proven ability to lead migrations of mature mobile products on live, growing systems.
• Strong mobile fundamentals across both iOS and Android native platforms.
• Experience operating in environments where both the problem and solution are unknown.
• Active individual contributor who writes and commits code daily.

Nice to have

• Experience with system languages like Rust or C for portable libraries.
• Contributions to open-source projects like React Native or Expo.
• Deep knowledge of mobile CI/CD, release trains, and over-the-air updates at scale.
