What you will do

• Perform component organic characterization using GC/MS and FTIR techniques.
• Assist in method development for material analysis.
• Learn to operate and calibrate Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer equipment.
• Support failure analysis on drives to improve cleanliness and material robustness.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives for pre-launch and post-launch products.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate student in Chemistry or Materials Science.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong analytical skills with a self-motivated and independent work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be located in Singapore for onsite work at the Shugart facility.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer) analysis.
• Experience with other lab instruments such as FTIR Spectrometers.
