What you will do

• Define and evolve the Shopify strategy, offerings, and market differentiators.
• Drive revenue growth through new business development and account expansion.
• Act as an executive advisor to clients, aligning commerce solutions with business outcomes.
• Oversee solution architecture and delivery quality across complex engagements.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of architects and engineers.
• Partner with Shopify and other ecosystem partners to enhance market positioning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Practice Director, Principal Architect, or senior leader in digital commerce.
• Deep expertise in Shopify (Shopify Plus strongly preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pre-sales and revenue growth.
• Extensive experience engaging with C-level stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross-functional, distributed teams in a consulting or agency environment.
• English: Fluency (C1+) required for collaboration across the Americas and Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Commerce or other enterprise commerce platforms.
• Background in composable commerce, headless, and cloud-native architectures.
• Integration experience with ERPs (SAP, D365, NetSuite) and middleware.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models and TOGAF framework.
• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms like Optimizely or AEM.
