What you will do

• Conduct full onboarding due diligence (CDD/EDD) for corporate clients, including identity verification and source of funds/wealth checks.
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening as part of the onboarding process.
• Assign and validate client risk ratings using the risk-based approach (RBA) methodology.
• Identify red flags, escalate high-risk cases, and make informed risk-based decisions on client acceptance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Legal teams to clarify corporate structures and UBOs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support periodic KYC reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in AML onboarding or transaction monitoring in a bank, EMI, or PSP.
• Proven track record of independently handling complex corporate structures and UBO identification.
• English: C1 level required.
• Fluent Russian and Latvian languages are required.
• Must be based in Riga, Latvia for a hybrid work model.
