What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design of API and integrations surfaces, from developer-facing documentation to in-product connection flows.
• Design and prototype AI-native patterns for ChatGPT, Claude, and MCP integrations to support agentic workflows.
• Rapidly transform concepts from Figma or LLMs into production-grade React components, owning interaction, accessibility, and performance.
• Partner with product and research to define strategies for how CRM integrations adapt to an AI-first world.
• Act as the first Design Engineer at the company, establishing the function and mentoring other designers on technical skills.
• Leverage AI-first tools like Cursor and Claude Code to achieve high-quality, production-ready output.

Requirements

• Strong professional portfolio showcasing a blend of product design and frontend engineering.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Deep interest in Developer Experience (DX) and an understanding of well-designed API surfaces.
• Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily development workflows.
• Comfort building from scratch and setting direction in ambiguous product areas without existing templates.
• Must be based in Europe to align with EU time zones.
