What you will do

• Improve user experience and workflow for document editors in the XPub Horseshoe application.
• Ensure effective support for XML markup, validation, and correction activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, XML schema developers, and engineers to translate publishing requirements into intuitive functionality.
• Leverage knowledge of XML technologies and enterprise web applications to enhance application usability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience as a Senior Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5, advanced CSS, and web design.
• Experience with UI/UX research and requirements gathering.
• Skill in Figma prototyping and HTML coding.
• Technical proficiency in XML content creation and XML Schema.
• Must be based in Vienna, VA, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Blazor, C#, LINQ-to-XML, and REST-based architectures.
• Experience creating XML documents conforming to established schemas or DTDs (e.g., DITA, DocBook, MIL-Specs).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
